Romantic Rural Break
If you are looking for a romantic break or an unusual place to
stay, you have come to the right place.
We are situated in the Heart of the Wye Valley in one of Britain's
most stunning areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
William Gilpin, in 1782, wrote the first ever English tourist
guide entitled "
Observations on the River Wye". This volume is agreed to
have heralded the birth of British tourism. He described the beauty
of this area as "Truly picturesque"
Our little bit of this loveliness is down a single track lane
tucked away from the world, yet still only 15 minutes from the M50,
the first in Britain.
B&B With a Difference
This is luxury camping for all seasons in magical accommodation.
Where every little thing can be provided for you.
The Traditional Wagons are nestled into a small valley,
in about an acre of
gardens, adjacent to Wriggles Brook. With farm land on one side and
wild hillside on the other.
Wriggles Brook Wildlife
The wildlife is abundant and you may be lucky enough to see such
creatures as Otter, Fox, Kingfisher, Peregrine, Sparrowhawk,
Buzzards and many more. There are bird tables adjacent to each
Wagon providing treats for Blue-Tits, Nut Hatches and other
feathered customers.
The peacefulness of the valley provides a safe haven for human
creatures too.
Things to do
The Wye Valley is packed full of
interesting walks and bicycle rides, there are canoe's to hire on one
of England's few wild River's,
2 golf courses nearby, pony
trekking and much more. Or simply stroll less than half a mile,
gently down hill, to our village Pub!
Perhaps you would rather just chill, light a fire, swing in your
hammock, read a book...or do nothing.
